The Top Three Signs that it's Time to Get a NEW JOB
1. You HATE coming into work - Waking up every morning leaves the worst feeling in your gut, just knowing that you have to go into work that day.
2. You have no more free time for yourself or for the people you love - Your career should be a part of your life, but never should it completely take over your life.
3. You feel stuck and can’t move forward - If there isn’t much room for growth, promotions or self development, it’s always best to go someplace else. Never stop growing, learning or bettering yourself.
A Catholic Church official on Monday warned the Department of Health (DOH) against distributing condoms to couples on Valentine’s Day, saying this may further increase the risk of Filipinos contracting Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
“We should (instead) impart the right message to the people particularly the youth which is faithfulness within the marriage or if they are not yet married, total abstention,” said Fr. Melvin Castro, executive secretary of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines Commission on Family and Life, said in an article posted on the CBCP news site.
He said giving out free condoms, like what the DOH did last year, would only send the wrong message especially to the youth that it is all right to engage in pre-marital sex as long as it is “safe and protected.”
Hair problems that you might not be able to relate to
Recently, I have been going to work with damp hair. Doing so saves me 15 minutes worth of blow drying my hair. Because seriously, why waste time blow drying if I could use that time to sleep more?
Earlier today, my hair was in perfectly damp condition, it was not wet enough that it’s dripping buckets of water. You see, I can’t go out with hair being too close to dry because if ever I should ride a habal-habal to work (paid motorcycle), the helmet would make my hair out of shape.
So I went out of the house, was already two blocks away, when I noticed that a wet substance was coming out of me. It was not stopping. I did not even think twice. I went home hurriedly.
"I’m wearing a white skirt, dammit! Why now!", was what I was thinking on the way home. I just could not afford to get a red stain on my skirt.
But because the real issue here is my hair, I shall segue back that after fixing myself, I hurriedly went to work. My hair was already drying up. I had to ride a habal-habal (where are cabs when you need one?) hence, my hair following the shape of the helmet.
I’m just gonna stop here because I have already bored myself four paragraphs ago.
