Free Eye Screening Today
The computerized machine says that my right eye has mild astigmatism but the doctor confirmed that I still have my 20/20 vision.
The former finding might explain though why I use my left eye in viewing thru my camera’s viewfinder whereas other people I know use their right.

He is not just a broadcaster to me, he is also a former classmate’s dad, also the father that accompanied the class during our elementary field trip. My heart is grieving right now. Nevertheless, I still could not imagine how Mika and her family must be feeling. My memories of being in their house is a little hazy but I could attest that he is a good man, great even, and that can be proven by how remarkable his kids has become. He may be gone but his advocacy will live through them.
Let us pray and hope for justice because Doc Gerry and his family deserve it.

After eating my early dinner yesterday, I fell asleep while watching an episode of 24. I woke up around 2am.
Horrified that I was not able to do my evening routine, I ran to the sink to wash my face and brush my teeth. The water was cold. I was already wide awake then. I scanned the 24 episode to watch where I left off.
I fell asleep again.
There’s something about Elisha Cuthbert’s acting that makes me doze off.

I feel saddened while looking at how many photos I was only able to take, only 169 on the first day, and 83 on the second day. Aside from the rain that prevented us from shooting, we were so tired from surfing that on the second day, we only had energy to snap pictures in the morning.
Also, from our group that went to La Union, we brought 5 dslrs. When we transferred beaches (we went to another one with calmer waves), it looked like we’re having a photoshoot in session before we hit the waves. Had only Jl brought his reflector with him, it would’ve looked more legit.

Since late 2009, I have been reading/back-reading Mo Twister’s blog every day weekday but it stopped the time he started not updating his blog because he had that television network issue when he joined TV5 last year. Apart from his blog, there’s the occasional browsing and back-reading on Inquirer.net, PEP.ph, StyleManila and Shen’s Addiction. (random sites, I know)
Recently, my daily blog reads include Chuvaness, Shen’s Addiction and Project Vanity. Sometimes, I read up on David Tong’s photography blog too.

Mine used to be myheart4u2luv2xxx*. Come college, I needed a username for my Multiply url. I was too lazy to think so I just modified my jologs email address and turned it into jenn4u2luv. Still lame, I know. :D
Due to laziness, it also has been my username for every online account that I have: Tumblr, Flickr, Multiply, Facebook, Formspring, Twitter and Threewords.
I was once active in Plurk, but I had a different username there. For some reason, I used the same username I use in my online game accounts.

Early summer
On 12 midnight, Saturday, we will be en route to La Union.
Like any other sane person who will be going to the beach, I should be watching what I eat and keeping my body toned the past couple of weeks so I could look presentable in my bikini.
But noooo. Just today, I have cooked 3 cups of rice (as in bigas, not kanin), lots of bacon and other ulam, ate chococates, graham cake, and 2 packs of Lifesavers Gummies. (I live alone, so yeah, I ate all that.)
Also, this week I shall be getting my period, which would probably mean that I would have to spend those days on the beach wearing tampons.
On FB allegedly shutting down
“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”
“What life? You mean the one where you only have one friend that you later on betrayed?” -is what I will say if the Facebook rumor shutting down was true.
Of course it’s not. It is now a corporation earning serious money, not just owned by one person. Should he want to retire, someone could always replace him like Bill Gates and the Microsoft.
